For our first day of camp, we studied chemistry and art. Campers saw the reaction of baking soda and vinegar by making a baking soda painting. They also explored how salt interacts with watercolor paints, creating a beautiful effect! For another painting, campers used copper and patina paints to generate spots of oxidation in their work.
