Creative STEAM Kids, LLC (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) serves the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region. We provide children and families with high-quality art-related lessons and projects that are rooted in the sciences. We have offered after-school STEAM programs, art camps, community events, as well as virtual tutoring sessions that are hands-on, informative, fun, and exciting.

Around eight years ago, a couple of colleagues and I began hosting Family STEAM Nights at our school. Seeing children eagerly learning, exploring, and sharing a rich, authentic experience with their loved ones, was so special and inspiring. It has had such an impact on me, that STEAM Education has become my focus. Blending art with other subjects has always been a passion of mine.
In 2018, an amazing parent at school asked if I would consider offering summer camps for her child and other children from school. I was overjoyed! This parent, along with others helped me to develop a platform for my vision. Thanks to the encouragement and direction of my spouse, Jimmy- Creative STEAM Kids, LLC was formed. We offered a weeklong camp in DC and had around 20 campers that year. I was so taken back by the experience, it encouraged me to do more and broaden the scope of my vision.
Since then, we have made partnerships, and we have offered more camps, community events, workshops, after-school classes, tutoring, and virtual classes. As Creative STEAM Kids regains strength again since the onset of COVID, we have branched out to MD as well, and hope to spread more STEAM-related joy across the DMV and beyond.
